Day 1 – Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater Rim
Depart Arusha in the morning and arrive in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in time for lunch. After settling in, spend the afternoon admiring the magnificent views of the crater floor from your lodge located on the crater rim.
The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the world’s most remarkable natural spectacles, renowned for its dramatic caldera, rich wildlife and breathtaking scenery. It borders Serengeti National Park to the north and west, forming part of a vast protected ecosystem.

Day 2 – Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive
After an early breakfast, descend 2,000 feet into the crater in a 4×4 vehicle for a full day of wildlife viewing, with a picnic lunch on the crater floor.
Often referred to as “the eighth wonder of the world”, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area spans around 8,300 sq km and offers an unmatched blend of landscapes, wildlife, Maasai culture and archaeological heritage.
The crater’s grasslands, forests, and swamps support a large concentration of animals, including elephants, lions, buffalo, hippos, hyenas and the rare black rhino.
In the evening, ascend back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 – Ngorongoro to Arusha
After breakfast, depart for Arusha, arriving in time for lunch. Arusha is the main gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit and serves as a convenient base for onward travel. After lunch, prepare for your next destination or transfer.
