Day 1: Nairobi – Mount Kenya National Park
Depart Nairobi in the morning and travel north toward Mount Kenya National Park. Make a stop at Karatina Market, the largest fresh-produce market in East Africa, located in the fertile agricultural heartland of central Kenya.
Continue to your Mount Kenya safari lodge, arriving in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon relaxing and enjoying wildlife viewing from the lodge’s balconies overlooking the forest and waterholes.

Day 2: Mount Kenya – Samburu Game Reserve
After breakfast, depart for the stunning Samburu Game Reserve, driving through scenic highlands before descending into Kenya’s semi-arid northern frontier.
Arrive at your Samburu lodge or tented camp for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in search of Samburu’s iconic “Special Five”—the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, gerenuk, reticulated giraffe, and Beisa oryx.

Day 3: Full Day in Samburu Game Reserve
Spend the entire day exploring the wildlife-rich Samburu Game Reserve with unlimited game drives along the Ewaso Nyiro River, the lifeline of the park. The river attracts elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and a variety of birdlife, making this one of Kenya’s most rewarding safari destinations.

Day 4: Samburu – Nairobi
Begin the day with an early morning game drive to catch predators and grazers at their most active. Return to the lodge for breakfast.
