Day 1: Nairobi – Aberdare National Park
Your safari begins with a pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or the international airport. Drive north toward the Mount Kenya region, arriving at Aberdare Country Club in time for lunch.
In the afternoon, transfer to The Ark Lodge using the lodge’s special vehicles. The Ark offers exceptional wildlife viewing experiences from its elevated decks overlooking watering holes frequented by elephants, buffalos, and other forest wildlife.

Day 2: Aberdare – Samburu National Reserve
After a full breakfast at The Ark, return to Aberdare Country Club and depart for Samburu National Reserve. Drive past the equator and witness the dramatic transition from lush highlands to the dry, rugged terrain of northern Kenya.
Arrive at Samburu Serena Lodge in time for lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive where you may spot unique northern species including the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, and reticulated giraffe.

Day 3: Full Day in Samburu National Reserve
Kick off the day with an early morning game drive, returning to the lodge for breakfast. Continue with a mid-morning game drive to explore more of Samburu’s diverse habitats.
After lunch, head out again for an afternoon game drive along the Ewaso Nyiro River—home to elephants, crocodiles, lions, and abundant birdlife.

Day 4: Samburu – Nairobi
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge before departing Samburu. Experience an en-route game drive as you exit the reserve. Travel back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. You will be dropped off at your hotel or the international airport.
