Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel at 9:30 am. Depart south through the scenic Maasai countryside, passing through Namanga—the Kenya/Tanzania border town—before continuing to Amboseli. Arrive in time for lunch.
In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive in Amboseli National Park, where you can spot an array of wildlife including elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, and more. The magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro provides a breathtaking backdrop for photography. Dinner and overnight will be at the campsite or lodge.
Day 2: Full-Day Game Drives in Amboseli
Start the day with a pre-breakfast early morning game drive at 6:00 am—prime time for spotting predators and enjoying the sunrise over Kilimanjaro. Return for breakfast, then proceed for a mid-morning game drive exploring Amboseli’s diverse habitats.
After lunch, head out for your final game drive of the day. Amboseli’s open plains, swamps, and viewpoints offer excellent wildlife sightings throughout the day. Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Amboseli to Nairobi
After breakfast, embark on your last game drive en route to the park exit. Depart Amboseli and enjoy lunch along the way before arriving back in Nairobi in the afternoon, marking the end of your Nairobi to Amboseli safari adventure.
