Day 1: Mombasa – Tsavo East National Park
Your Mombasa to Tsavo East safari begins with a 6:00 a.m. pick-up from your coastal hotel. Drive along the Mombasa–Nairobi Highway to Tsavo East National Park and enter through Bachuma Gate. Enjoy an en-route game drive as you head toward your preferred lodge—Ashnil Aruba Lodge, Voi Safari Lodge, Voi Wildlife Lodge, Voi Wildlife Manyatta Luxury Tents, or Ashnil Aruba Luxury Tents—arriving in time for lunch.
After lunch, relax before your evening game drive at 4:00 p.m., exploring the park’s rugged terrain and abundant wildlife. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Tsavo East – Taita Hills Sanctuary – Salt Lick Lodge
Start your day with a 6:30 a.m. early morning game drive, followed by a full breakfast back at the lodge. After check-out, enjoy a game drive en route to Taita Hills Sanctuary. Arrive at Sarova Taita Hills Game Lodge in time for lunch.
In the afternoon, embark on a game drive as you make your way to the iconic Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge—famous for its elevated, stilted rooms overlooking active waterholes. After settling in, enjoy a 4:00 p.m. evening game drive before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Salt Lick – Voi – Mombasa
Begin with a 6:30 a.m. early morning game drive, then return for a full breakfast at 8:30 a.m. After check-out, enjoy a mid-morning game drive as you exit the sanctuary. Continue to Voi town for lunch before departing for Mombasa. Arrive at your coastal hotel in the late afternoon, concluding your memorable Mombasa to Tsavo East safari.
