Day 1: Mombasa – Tsavo East – Tsavo West
Your Tsavo East and West safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your Mombasa or Coast beach hotel. Depart inland via the Mombasa–Nairobi Highway, arriving at Tsavo East National Park for your first game drive. Focus your exploration around the Aruba Dam and Kanderi Swamp—prime wildlife areas where elephants, lions, buffalo, zebras, and antelopes are frequently spotted.
Traverse the expansive savannah on scenic game drives before stopping for a buffet lunch overlooking the plains, with possible wildlife sightings nearby.
In the afternoon, depart for Tsavo West National Park. Begin game viewing upon entry and continue toward the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, where you may spot the endangered black rhino along with a variety of other wildlife. Proceed to your safari lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Tsavo West – Tsavo East – Mombasa
